The Pro-Scan II Hand Held Scanner is a heavy duty hand held scanner designed for prisons, jails, detention centers, night clubs, and anyplace you need a sensitive and heavy duty metal scanner for high volume needs.

The high performance Pro-Scan II hand held security scanner is designed to meet the exact requirements of the professional security industry. Typical uses will include body search for offensive weapons in crowd control, airport, building, border security, checking parcels, and letters for metal objects, and anywhere that hidden metal needs to be detected.

The Pro-Scan II is beefier and heavy duty; the case is 50% thicker than the regular Pro-Scan. The sensitivity switch is easier to operate, and the scanning area is 20% wider. Better for high volume situations like jails & detention centers.

Pro-Scan operates on one 9-volt alkaline or rechargeable battery, and we toss in a free one to get you started ($3 value).

The presence of metal will be indicated by an audio warning tone and a red light. You can adjust the sensitivity on the Pro-Scan depending on the situation.

Sensitivity:

• You will be able to detect a .38 caliber hand gun at 7.75 inches on low sensitivity, and up to11 inches away at optimum sensitivity.
• A Pen knife will be detected as close as 4 inches on low sensitivity, and up to 6 inches on optimum sensitivity.
• A razor blade will be detected at 2 inches on low sensitivity, and 4 inches on optimum sensitivity.
